Easy peasy Chicken Strips

As the name suggest this one is an easy recipe and everybody will love it

Perfect party snack

Ingredients:

-2 boneless and skinless, clean and washed chicken breast cut into thin strips
-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
-1 tsp salt (or as per your taste)
-1 tsp ground black pepper
-1 tsp red chili flakes
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tblsp mustard sauce
-1 large egg beaten with few drops of water
-1/2 cup all purpose flour (with a 1/4 tsp salt)
- oil for deep frying

Method:

In a mixing bowl, take the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, chilli flakes an garlic powder and mix well. Add the chicken strips to it and rub the marinade onto the chicken. Cover and let it marinade for about 2 hours or more.

When the chicken has been marinated, in a wok heat up some oil for deep frying.

Take the chicken strips and add to the egg, then to the flour. Roll each strip in the flour until fully coated. Once the oil is hot, fry until golden. Do not need to overcook it. Once it is golden remove onto a plate with papertowel to remove access oil.

Serve with coleslaw, fries, salad and other favorite sides. Enjoy!

Sofiyani pulav

Sofiyani pulav is the royal version of biryani which is purely made of light spices unlike pulavs or biryani which have ingredients like red chillies or tomatoes for a great structure or color and with the royal ingredients saffron or zaffran which is a royal spice used from the ancient era as that it was the most traded spice before independence
Mostly people hailing from Arab,turkey and persia
During ancient times saffron aka zaffran was a spice specially for noble families but now it has been evolved to modern families specially the nawabs from Lucknow and Hyderabad they use a massive amount of saffron in theri delicacies even mughlai cuisine has zaffran usage in theeir meals
Due to the price factor of zaffran it is used mostly in food which are for guest or if there is any marriage, occasion or dawat
Coming back to sofiyani pulav sofiyani word refers to sofi means delicate and peace so this pulav resembles a delicate version of rice which is light on the platter and tastes heavenly good
Flavours are more of good and light on the stomach sofiyani pulav has a very nice aromatic spice blend of saunf and other spice ingredients
This pulav is a different one from the traditional pulav people who are looking for a change in terms of eating a pulav can go for this recipe or if you are bored of the same old pulav which has deep fried onions coriander and tomatoes you can surely try this one out
Sofiyani pulav is also refers to saifedina meaning white in color
So let's dig into the ingredients of sofiyani pulav
Ingredients
Rice 200 gm
Chicken 200 gm
Haldi powder 1/4 tsp
1 shimla mirchi
1 cup spring onion
Butter 2 tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Whole garam masala
Green chilli
Tandoori masala 2 tbsp
Curd 2 tbsp
Saunf and dhania crushed
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chilli paste 1 tsp
Method
Marinate chicken with tandoori masala salt and curd
Heat oil add whole garam masala jeera ginger garlic paste turmeric green chilli
Paste crushed saunf dhania and add water
Boil water and cook rice
Heat butter fry chicken and keep aside add some butter and shimla mirchi spring onion and mix with rice dum for 10 minutes
Serve hot

How to make instant garlic bread

Ingredients

Italian bread loaf
100 gm unsalted butter
8 large cloves garlic
Oregano 1 tsp
1/2 cup cheese

Preheat the oven for 350°
Cut the bread and mix the butter garlic and oregano together Jn a small bowl spread the mixture over the bread halves place on oven for 10 minutes or on pan
Grate cheese on the bread and again bake for 5 minutes

Cutchi Dabeli Recipe

We all must have heard of Cutchi or kutchi dabeli
Cutchi dabeli is made of pav or loaf loaded with tangy potatoes and colorful pomegranate, sev, masala peanuts,and coriander
Cutchi dabeli is basically a Gujrati dish just like our vadapav pav is fill with delectable potato filling

As this recipe is from gujarat you will see a lot of colors and taste in it from tangy to spicy garlic chutney

If you are a mumbaikar you will see Cutchi dabeli or dabeli at Zaveri Bazar side or at masjid bunder area or any gujarati area
Potatoes are cooked with good spices like jeera, dhania, red chilli powder cloves and cinnamon powder

And we all love tangy imli gud chutney and we stock up in refrigerator so this chutney is also used as a spread on pav in addition garlic chutney is also used to make it tangy and spicy

This recipe is surely the one which is healthy plus easy to make

Dabeli is a combination of tangy potato filling loaded with pomegranate nylon sev masala peanuts wrapping up with pav or small loaf with tangy imli gud chutney and spicy garlic chutney

You can make dabeli masala powder at home or you can buy at the local shop
However I prefer homemade rather than store bought so here is the recipe

Dabeli /cutchi dabeli masala powder
Jeera 2 tsp
Dhania coriander 2 tsp
Cloves 4-5
Cinnamon stick 1
Red chillies 3-4
Dry roast all the ingredients and let is cool and grind it coarsely or fine powder
I prefer little coarsely as it gives a nice flavour
Masala peanuts
You can buy store bought peanuts or that 5 rs balaji peanuts pack

Cutchi Dabeli Recipe
Ingredients
Boiled potatoes 4-5 mashed
Kothmir chopped
Dabeli masala powder 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion 1 finely chopped
Pav 12 small
Pomegranate 1 full
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Butter 3-4 tbsp
Nylon sev
Masala peanuts

Method
In a heavy bottom pan add 2 tsp oil,Mashed potatoes and add kothmir or coriander followed by dabeli masala powder, ginger garlic paste, some finely chopped onions, red chilli powder, turmeric powder cook for about 5-10 minutes till all the spices are mixed with potatoes
Now cut the pav from middle and put butter in it roast it on a pan and add the potato filling inside
Spread tamarind chutney on one side and garlic chutney on the other
Coat the edges with pomegranate nylon sev and masala peanuts

Chicken tikka boti recipe

Chicken tikka is the universal dish everybody loves on this planet
And nothing can beat home made juicy scrumptious tikka
We all gets tempted whenever we pass a food lane where you see tikka in colors and flavors
I am sure your mouth must be watering by now

Recipe for chicken tikka boti
Ingredients for sinful Chicken tikka boti or chicken tikka
You can follow the same procedure if you are making chicken tikka with a great piece or leg piece
Ingredients
Chicken 1/2 kg cut into cubes or both
Red chilli powder 1-2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Chicken masala or tandoori masala powder 1-2 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice
Method for chicken tikka
Wash chicken nicely and marinate with all the ingredients for 3-4 hours
If you are running late on time then marinate at least for half an hour in fridge
And then deep fry it or roast it
Well we like to munch on greens also with chicken tikka so some tangy salad is a must and onions best compliments the chicken specially if it's a tikka so we will make red salad however we can skip red color if you dont want
Red salad
Cut onion and tomato then add red chilli powder , red colour , salt ,lemon and mix it and your salad is ready
Chicken tikka is always incomplete without green chutney so here we go with green chutney
Green chutney
Add handful of coriander leaves , green chilli ,  lemon  and grind it  and your     
chutney is ready
