Rosy Mojhito

Summers are hitting badly this ramadhan
And I am already a big time lover for mojitos so I don't need any special reason lol😁 to post this recipe

We often consume ready made sugary syrups colas or roohafzas but this one ia a hero it is made with natural ingredients which is actually cool and good fro the body plus it looks good what else uvwant it😉😉 Mojito is one of the refreshing drinks one can have no matter whatever is the season this drink surely quench your thirst

Rosy Mojhito

Ingredients
3 lime juice 
4 tbsp mint leaves 
2tbsp rooh afza
Lots of  lce
7 up 1/2 litre 
Sugar 3 to 4 tbsp 
Crushed mint sugar & lime juice 
Method

Dip the glasses in colored sugar or any flavooured pwder

Pour the glass with mint mixture  put ice  cube  pour  rooh afza or rose syrup (For making classic mojito skip this part)

And lastly add 7 up and thin slices of lime with mint leaves (if u dont use 7 up also it taste good)

Serve chilled

Dragon Chicken With Crispy Spinach

We all love pretty looking food my little brother is a chinese maniac and loves to eat chinese munchie only so my mom did an invention by using spinach aka palak to make him eat in a uber cool way and this is the result we got it

We all have this kinda story at home share what new u did to make ur kids eat something which they dont... Dragon chicken with crispy 
Dragon Chicken with Crispy Spinach

Ingredients

Boneless chicken 500 gms
Coriander leaves or spring onion for garnishing
Oil for deep frying

For marination

Dark soya sauce 2 tsp
Red chilli paste 1 tsp
Egg 1
Ajinomoto option
Corn flour 1/4 cup
Maida 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper 1 tsp

For sauce 
Oil 2 tbsp
Dry red chilli
Cashews 4 tbsp broken into pieces
Onion 1 thinly sliced
Capsicum 1 thinly sliced
Dark soya sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 1 cup
Salt to taste sugar 2 tsp

Take chicken in a bowl add all the marination ingredients mix well let it marinate for 15 minutes now heat some oil for deep frying and deep fry till golden.
Add in red chilli,cashews,fry till golden brown

Now add in onion,capsicum,toss well add ginger garlic paste and saute
Now add all sauce ingredients cook till water evaporates and it becomes thick
Now add fried chicken and garnish with coriander or spring onion

Take spinach wash well and cut into thin strips and let it dry for 1 or 2 hour then add cornflour and seasame seeds mix well deep fry it in hot oil once crisp remove it and add castor sugar chillly flakes and serve it.

Chicken Candy Kabab

Easy chicken starter unqiue and delicious
We often make chicken lollypops but this one is juicy as well

INGREDIENTS
Chicken 1/2 kg
nestle cream or amul cream 1 cup 
salt to taste
pepper 2 tsp
garlic paste 1 tbsp
green chillies  paste 1 tbsp
2 eggs

METHOD
Marinate chicekn in nestle cream,salt,pepper,garlic, green chillies over nite...
. Next day put on skewers, dip and egg and fine breadcrumbs... Very delicious in taste😋

Chicken Donut Kabab

Unique and attractive recipe to try this ramzan

Ingredients

Boneless chicken – 300 gram (ground in a food processor)
Potato – 1 , (boil, peel and mash it)
Black pepper powder – + 1 teaspoon
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Green chili – 2 to 3, chopped (according to taste)
Crushed ginger garlic – 2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon, chopped
All purpose flour – ½ cup
Besan flour / chickpea flour – 1 tablespoon
Bread crumbs – ½ cup
Baking powder – ¼ teaspoon
Egg - 1
Salt – to taste
Oil – 1 tablespoon + for deep frying

METHOD
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and cook the chicken with 1 teaspoon black pepper powder and salt, till no water content remains in the pan. Remove from the flame.
In a deep bowl, combine together mashed potato, chopped onion, green chili, crushed ginger garlic, coriander leaves, cooked chicken, 1 teaspoon black pepper powder and little salt and combine evenly.
To this add all purpose flour, chickpea flour, bread crumbs, baking powder and one egg and knead to a soft dough.
Heat oil over medium low flame, in a deep pan, and keep it ready (make sure that the oil is not too hot, or else the snack will not get cooked inside properly).
Make about 16 – 18 balls out of the prepared dough.
Take it one by one, press lightly to flatten the ball and make a hole at the center, with your finger, to get the shape of a donut.
Fry it in the oil till golden brown turning the sides occasionally.
Move the fried chicken donuts to a paper towel and remove excess oil.
Serve with mayo and sweet chilli sauce

Pizza Rice

Pizza is a staple for almost everybody so why not try that in rice

This one is an amazing rice delicacy perfect for occassions and dawat during ramzan
Pizza Rice Recipe
In a pot take 2tbsp oil warm it add 1 cubed fillet , salt to taste, 1 tablespoon paprika , 1 teaspoon chillie powder,
1 teaspoon garlic , 2 tablespoon soya sauce , 2 tablespoon vinegar 1⁄2 teaspoon chilli garlic flakes ,1 teaspoon chilli sauce,1⁄2 teaspoon mixed herbs. Cook all this for 5-7 minutes 
Then add 1⁄2 cup cubed mushrooms, 1 cup colored peppers, 1 small onion cubed , add some sweetcorn if u like. Cook for few minutes. Lastly add 1⁄2 cup tomato sauce. Cook till masala is thick and dry. 
Boil 2 cups rice in water adding 1⁄2 teaspoon arad (Turmeric) (Turmeric) and salt. Cook until rice completely done. 
Assemble 
Lay the rice in a tray or pyrex. Spread chicken. Masala over. Cover with grated cheese & sprinkle origanum & parsley. Grill til cheese melts. Serve hot with chips & coleslaw. 
Note :-
add spice & sauces according your taste buds. 
 Used white & yellow cheese. 

Death By Oreo Cake Recipe

My middle son loves oreo in almost every dessert or cake we make and this one is a super easy cake no need of long hours of decoration just some oreo and dripping will do the justice for you here we go with another #ramzandessertrecipe
Death by oreo cake

For the Cake
4 eggs
1cup oil
1 cup milk
4 teaspoon baking powder
1 ¾ cup cake flour
½ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 ½ cup sugar

Topping: 
Fresh Cream
Crushed Oreos
Sprinkles
Chocolate

METHOD
Cake
-Heat the oil and milk in a saucepan and let it cool
-Sift together flour and cocoa powder, Add to the above mixture and mix well
-Beat the eggs till fluffy, add sugar little by little beating well between each addition
-Fold in vanilla essence and baking powder -Add the oil, milk, flour and cocoa powder mixture to the above and beat till well combined
-Bake in a preheated oven on 180 till done

Topping -Beat the fresh cream well till soft peaks form, add in the crushed Oreos to it
-Sandwich the cake, layer some cream in the centre. Un sandwich the cake and cover it with fresh cream
-Melt chocolate and pour it over your cake
-Decorate the cake with fresh cream, Oreos and sprinkles as you desire

Kfc Chicken Recipe

Ok we all love kfc chicken
And this one is a classic hit during ramzan

KFC Chicken Recipe
1 chicken, cut into 8-10 pieces 
1 beaten egg
2 tablespoon. all-purpose/plain flour
2 tablespoon. corn flour
1 teaspoon. ginger paste
1 tablespoon. garlic paste
1 tablespoon. soya sauce
1 teaspoon. vinegar
1 tablespoon. lemon juice
1 teaspoon. red chilli powder
1 teaspoon. cinnamon powder
1 tablespoon.paprika
salt to taste
½ teaspoon. chinese salt (optional)
½ teaspoon. black pepper powder
Other Ingredients
½ cup all-purpose flour/plain flour 
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon chilli powder

METHOD
Instructions 
First, clean the chicken then prick the chicken pieces with a fork all over and marinate in the chicken marinade ingredients for 4 hours or more

Next, mix ½ a cup of flour with ½ teaspoon. salt and ½ teaspoon. chilli powder. Put these dry ingredients in a plastic bag.

Now, 2 pieces at a time, put the chicken in the flour bag and shake to make sure each piece is well coated with the flour repeat this step twice or thrice it will better results and it will be like inshallah kfc chicken, This helps give the chicken a perfect rough and crispy surface.

Heat oil on high, add the chicken pieces without crowding the pan. You can do them in 2-3 batches. Lower the heat and deep-fry each batch for about 15 minutes, making sure to turn the chicken pieces once or twice in the oil in order to get them golden on all sides.

Drain on kitchen towels and serve with fries and some Garlic mayo or chilli mayo

Fusion Hot Dog Rolls

We all know kids love this attractive sandwich to grab on and my younger brother just love thìs kinda thing 
And morever he makes more beautiful sandwich than me
Fusion Hot Dog Rolls
Ingredients  Steak filling-
500g topside steak (stripped)
1 onion (sliced)
1 piece taj
½ tablespoon red ginger garlic masala
1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoon chilli powder
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
2 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon brown vinegar
2 tablespoon tomato sauce
3 tomatoes (liquidized)

Also needed-
Tomato Sauce
Grated gouda cheese
Italian Herbs
2 dzn mini hotdog rolls

METHOD
1. Braise onion with taj until golden.
2. Add masala and spices, braise till fragrant.
3. Add steak, mustard and vinegar and coat well.
4. Cook till no water remains, then add tomatoes and sauce.
5. Add more water if needed to cook till steak is tender.
6. Cook until a thickened gravy has formed. Remove taj. Shred the steak.
7. Slit the tops of rolls. Squirt in tomato sauce.
8. Spoon in steak with gravy and then squirt over little more sauce.
9. Sprinkle over cheese and herbs. (Freezer suitable).
10. Bake in preheated oven till crispy on outside and cheese is melted or heat in microwave.

Kandi Gosh Recipe

Kandi gosh or kadi gosh
One of the most oldest starter made during ramzan
I remember how my dadi and nani usr to make this with perfect balance of ingredients and spices

There taste is unbeatable however this recipe still has some roots from them 
One of the simplest yet delicious #ramzanstarter
So here we go with the recipe
Kandi Gosh Recipe
Ingredients

500 grm boneless beef
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon dhana powder
½ teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon Shan sheek kabab masala
½ teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon chat masala
Method
Marinate beef and keep in fridge for 1 hour.
Skewer the beef.
Coat with bread crumbs.
Then dip it in egg.
Fry it on slow flame.
Shallow fry it.
Serve hot with lemon.

Suleman Usman Style Malpua Recipe

Malpua is an Indian pancake-like-dessert which is made of rice flour in oodles of ghee and sugar syrup. The traditional sweet has been a festive staple since eons. For the longest time in Indian households, Malpuas were associated with something celebratory or was prepared when there was a good news or someone was visiting home from far abroad

How to make Suleman Usman style Malpua
150 grams of maida (all purpose flour)

40 grams rawa (semolina)

1/2 tsp baking powder

4 eggs

1/4 cup of milk

100 grams of khoya or mawa

100 grams of sugar

1/2 tsp elaichi powder (cardamom)

5-6 almonds powdered

Ghee for frying

Method

Mix rawa, maida and baking powder in a bowl.

Add enough water to make it into a paste.

Cover it and keep it for 6 to 8 hours.

After 8 hours, add lightly beaten eggs, sugar, elaichi powder, crumbled khoya, almonds and enough milk to make fairly thick batter.

Heat enough ghee in a frying pan for the purpose of deep frying.

Pour one large spoon of batter on it. Fry it until the batter turns golden brown on one side. Then turn it on the other side. Let the other side also turn golden brown.

The first malpua is ready.

Remove it from the pan and do the same for the remaining of the batter.

Serving Malpuas can be best served with malai or rabdi.

Note Malpuas have to be served hot or warm. If you chill them then it becomes chewy.

Sweet and Saucy Chicken Drumstick Recipe

Sweet & Saucy Chicken Drumstick Recipe

How to make Sweet & Saucy Chicken Drumstick 

Ingredients

6 pieces chicken drumsticks

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

2 tbsp curd

Pinch of red food colour

1/2 cup of tomato puree

50 gms butter

1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)

Chopped coriander leaves

2 tbsp cashew powder

2 tbsp hot and sweet sauce

To make tomato puree

Take 4 large tomatoes and boil them in 3 cups of water for 6 to 7 minutes.

Let it cool and then grind to a thick paste without adding any water.

Tomato puree is ready.

To make hot and sweet sauce

Mix 1 tbsp chilli sauce and 1 tbsp tomato sauce. 

Hot and sweet sauce is ready.

Method for Saucy Chicken Drumsticks

Wash the chicken pieces, drain and cut horizontal slit across each piece. Keep in a bowl.

Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, curd, tomato puree and red food colour.

Mix well and keep aside for 4 to 5 hours for marination.

In a separate pan, heat butter on slow flame.

Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and jeera. Fry it for a minute.

Add cashew paste. Add a few drops of water, so it does not stick or burn.

Saute till it turns golden brown.

Add hot and sweet sauce. Mix well.

Add a little chopped coriander leaves. Keep this gravy aside.

In a vessel, put the marinated chicken pieces and cook on low flame for about 30 minutes till water evaporates. (I cook it in a pressure cooker for two whistles).

Add the cooked chicken pieces to the gravy. Cook for 5 minutes.

Garnish with cashew nuts and chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with schezwan sauce or any other sauce of choice.

Chicken Stick Boti Recipe

Although we have reached a never ending lockdown recipes with few ingredients is a must

Perfect evening snack for Sunday or for any day since we don't remember which day it is... Here we are with our quick and tasty recipe chicken stick boti

Chicken stick boti
Ingredients

Boneless Chicken 400 gm (cut into cubes)
Raw Papaya 1 tbsp (grinded, with skin)
Tikka boti masala 3 tbsp (heaped)
(use it of any brand)
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tsp (heaped)
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp (leveled)
Chat masala 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Eggs (beaten) 2
Bread crumbs as required

METHOD: - Marinate boneless chicken cubes with tikka boti masala, raw papaya, ginger garlic paste, black pepper, salt, chat masala and leave it for 1 hour.
- Then insert them on wooden skewers, coat in bread crumbs and dip in 2 beaten eggs and deep fry till light golden


How To Make Pudla/Besan Cheela/Veg omlette

Off lately craving for some instant snack or breakfast
So yesterday made this instant snack known as pudla
It's very famous and seen as a street food in gujju areas like masjid bunder and zaveri bazar
Made with easily available ingredients available at home and can be made in minutes

Pudla/besan cheela/veg omlette

Ingredients
Besan /gram flour 1 cup
Onion finely chopped 1 or 2
Tomato 1
Few sprigs of coriander leaves
Green chilli finely chopped 1
Jeera/cumin 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Water 1 1/2 cup
Cheese optional
Butter as per choice

Method
Make a batter of all the above ingredients except cheese,butter and add water gradually 
The batter should be not too thick it should have a runny Consistency
Heat pan add batter by using a spoon pour the batter spoon by spoon don't spread the batter just add by spoon and make a circle of it
Cook from both the sides
Now if you want you can grate cheese on it and add some butter to give a nice aromatic taste enjoy.. With your favorite chutney or sauce

#memonikitchenwithshanu #bilkisfarooq Credits@the_kitchen_passionista • • • • • • Samosa chaat Recipe and photo credit @the.glitter.grater Ingredients: 1 recipe of Chana masala 1 recipe of potatoes 12-15 Fried and drained samoosas Plain samoosa pur crushed Chopped onions Plain yogurt 1 recipe of green chutney 1 recipe of aamli sauce Red Samosa chutney Chaat masala Lemons to squeeze over Chopped coriander. Layering; 1.) heat Chana, Potatoes and fry the pur and samosas fresh. 2.) spoon some Chana at the bottom of your bowl/ plate 3.) break up or mash 1-2 samoosas and crush some pur and scatter it over 4.) scatter a few cubes of potatoes 5.) drizzle over some aamli sauce, samoosa chutney and green chutney 6.) scatter over some cubed onions and some more crushed pur. 7.) top with some plain yogurt, pomegranate rubies, more crushed pur, chopped fresh cortiander. 8.) squeeze some lemon over and serve immediately. Credits@cookinqueens3 #bilkisfarooq • • • • • • Khandvi / Pathuri @the_kitchen_girl 1 cup gram/chana flour 1 cup full cream maas/ sourmilk/ inkhomazi 2 cups water Salt to taste I tsp sugar Squeeze of lemon juice ( optional) Green chilli paste to taste 1/4 tsp ginger paste Pinch of hing Keep stainless steel thaalis (I used about 5) ready by lightly greasing with oil on the bottom side. You can use a smooth countertop or a thick plastic too. But grease them lightly too. Mix the chana flour with the yogurt till its lump free. Now add the water and all the other ingredients and mix well. Taste the mixture at this point as you wont be able to adjust later Pass through a sieve to remove any lumps or grainy particles. Cook this mixture in a non stick pan on medium to low heat until it forms a thick paste. Take note not to leave this unattended. Keep mixing all the time, or u will end up with lumps. This takes about 10 to 15 min. Mix mix mix, work those muscles🤭. Pre test if the mixture is done. Take a tsp and spread it thinly to your thaali, try to lift the sides..if it lifts up without sticking to the bottom, your mixture is ready. Switch the heat off. Place the mixture onto your thaali, one at a time and spread as thin as possible and evenly over your thaali. Work quick as it dries quick. Do the same with the remaining mixture. Allow for the spread mixture to stand for about 15 min. Now cut strips and roll like a swiss roll. Arrange into serving dish and pour tempering on top. Garnish with fresh chopped dhania and grated fresh coconut (I nvr had at this point). For the tempering: Take 2 tbs oil, fry whole green chillies, then add 1 tsp rye and 1 tsp sesame seeds. Once it begins crackling, add 1 stick of curry leaves. Pour onto the rolled khandvi.

This dessert brings back many childhood memories for me when my mum used to make this and we couldn’t wait to have a bowl. . . This is a popular Pakistani milk based dessert and is often made for guests or for occasions and doesn’t take much time to make. The dessert is thick and creamy and paired together with the flavours of cardamom and kewra water, it is simply delicious. . . I’ll share the step by step in the next few days but in the meantime here’s the recipe; . . This is my recipe that I have perfected over the years and I am sure you will love it. . Here is what you need; 100 grams of seviyan (vermicilli) 1 1/2 ltr full fat milk 300 ml double cream 397g Condensed milk 8-10 cardamom pods (just the seeds) 100g unsalted butter 1 tbs kewra water Handful of almonds/crushed pistachio 1 cup golden sugar . Method: 1. In a pot melt the butter on a low heat ensuring it doesn’t burn. 2. Add the cardamom seeds to the butter and then the seviyan. Cook for approx 5-6 mins on a medium to high flame until you see the seviyan have turned golden and you can smell the aroma of cardamom. 3. Add the milk and sugar and stir well and bring to the boil 4-5 times. 4. You will see that the milk has thickened slightly and the seviyan have softened. 5. Add the condensed milk, double cream and Kewra water and bring to the boil another 3-4 times until it is thick but still runny. 6. Pour the doodh seviyan into a dessert dish and let it sit for 5 mins. 7. Whilst waiting in a pesal and mortar crush some almonds to break them into small pieces. 8. After 5 mins you will see that a seal has formed on the top of the saviyan. Sprinkle over the almonds. 9. Let it cool down and then place in fridge to make them cold. . . Tips: – you can adjust the sugar to your family’s taste. Mine like it quite sweet. – Kewra water is an extract that is distilled from pandanus flowers. Something new to try this #winter • • • • • • Garlic Chicken roll Credits@mubina_18 3 chicken fillets cut into cubes 4 rolls 2 tablespoon butter melted Marinade :- 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon garlic 1 tablespoon calistos peri peri spices 2-3 tablespoon calistos peri peri sauce ½ teaspoon zesty lemon pepper 2 tablespoon lemon juice/ vinegar 2-3 tablespoon oil Chopped coriander Salt and pepper to taste Peri peri Garlic sauce:- 1/2cup vegetable oil ⅓ cup lemon juice 6 cloves garlic peeled 1 egg white* 1 teaspoon salt 2-3 tablespoon calistos peri peri sauce Garlic Sauce:- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, it should take 1 to 2 minutes. This recipe will make about 1 ½ cups of sauce, refrigerate leftover sauce. Spiedies:- In a small bowl whisk together the marinade ingredients. Place the chicken in a ziploc bag and pour the marinade over chicken.mix well. Keep in fridge for at least 2 hours up to overnight. Now add chicken in a pot. Cook on medium high flame until chicken is cooked and starts to brown. When cook then add chopped coriander. Mix well and keep aside. Cut the rolls lengthwise and brush the inside of the roll generously with butter. Place the rolls on the grill and let them grill for about 2 minutes or until the bread starts to brown.
